Based on a friend's recommendation I picked up "Everything Used to be in Black and White." Since then Paul has swiftly become one of my new favorites. This is one of the reasons why. We don't see enough covers like this anymore.

Agreed, and I don't see why we shouldn't have covers like these on every comic. It's exciting, it tells you what kind of things to expect inside, and it's a great image too. Much better than a generic pin-up of Random Character A in front of Random Background F.

when is issue 17 shipping?

Hard to give a definite shipping date at the moment - all I can say is everything is at the printers. Should be out in a few weeks - hopefully on the early side of June.

As I mentioned earlier there's been a little 'drifting' - each issue seems to be coming out a few days later than planned for various reasons, so the knock on effect is issue 16 came out at the beginning of May rather than the end of April. That then makes issue 17 a little later. This is why I'm not planning on soliciting Jack Staff in September, so hopefully things are back on track for October.

Its still an impressive feat in how you've kicked Jack Staff on track. Four Issues in 5 months as it is has made this the best year for Jack Staff ever.

(granted Diamond mess up and I've yet to get issue #15. Even with my shop putting in a back order for me. I'm very mad)
