GLAMOUR GONE!
Jamie McKelvie's SUBURBAN GLAMOUR sells out!
October 29th, 2007 (Berkeley, CA) - Jamie McKelvie's SUBURBAN GLAMOUR #1, hot off the heels of his critically-acclaimed mini-series PHONOGRAM, has officially sold out at the distribution level.
"SUBURBAN GLAMOUR is the first work I've done completely solo, following LONG HOT SUMMER with Eric Stephenson and PHONOGRAM with Kieron Gillen," said series writer/artist Jamie McKelvie. "Writing and drawing on my own was initially nerve wracking, but news like this has me very excited. I'm especially happy there's a solid readership who will experience the story getting much stranger and far more dangerous for Astrid and company."
SUBURBAN GLAMOUR is a four-issue modern day fantasy mini-series featuring a teenage girl, Astrid, whose world spirals out of control once her childhood imaginary friends turn out to be real. Her previously make-believe friends reveal themselves to be harbingers for a greater evil centered upon the hometown she's eager to leave. The mini-series has already received high praise from such sources as FELL's Warren Ellis.
Ellis said, "If PHONOGRAM didn't already convince you that Jamie's one of the major new talents of the decade, please do make sure you get a look at this."
SUBURBAN GLAMOUR #2 (AUG072034), a 32-page full color comic book for $2.99, is currently available for reorder and will be in stores in December. LONG HOT SUMMER (JUL051621), an 80-page black & white original graphic novel, and PHONOGRAM: RUE BRITTANIA (JAN071929), a 152-page black and & tradepaperback, are in-stock.

BLOOD RUNS ANEW THIS JANUARY!
Youngblood returns as an ongoing series!
October 15th, 2007 (Berkeley, CA) - Rob Liefeld's return to Image dominated the buzz this past summer and now you can finally see the results in this January's YOUNGBLOOD #1!
"YOUNGBLOOD is the book which launched the Image invasion and eventually spawned THE ULTIMATES and AUTHORITY," said writer Joe Casey. "It's only right it's back at home and I'm extremely thrilled Rob has entrusted his creations to series artist Derek Donovan and me. Derec and I are bringing back everything fans loved about the series, but in a whole new style set for the fans of today."
A new administration reunites series originals like Shaft, Badrock, Die Hard and Cougar alongside newer creations including Johnny Panic, Doc Rocket and one never-before-seen character! In addition, creator Rob Liefeld will be providing variant covers for each issue of the series.
Image Comics Publisher Erik Larsen said, "Having Rob and YOUNGBLOOD under the Image banner is the way things should be. Rob's passion behind the book embodies the purpose of Image: creators owning the work they hold most dear. Besides, it's a thrill to have him and the whole YOUNGBLOOD crew signing alongside me!"

JACK IS BACK!
Paul Grist superhero classic goes monthly!
BERKELEY, CA (October 12th, 2007) - Paul Grist's acclaimed superhero series, JACK STAFF, goes monthly starting with January's JACK STAFF SPECIAL #1.
"I've longed to put out JACK STAFF monthly for a long time," Grist said. "Luckily, I wasn't alone as Image's Executive Director, Eric Stephenson, has wanted the same thing. We've been working together to make it happen for awhile now and I'm happy to say we already have three issues in the can with a fourth right on its heels."
JACK STAFF made its debut through Grist's own publishing house, Dancing Elephant Press, but it didn't take long into his twelve issue run to catch Stephenson's interest. The book was soon relaunched under Image and introduced a new fanbase to Jack Staff and his massive supporting cast including the Freedom Fighters, Sgt. States, Tom Tom the Robot Man and Becky Burdock: Vampire Reporter. JACK STAFF SPECIAL #1 will catch up the uninitiated and provide the perfect jumping on point to February's JACK STAFF #14.

WOLF-MAN ASTOUNDS AGAIN!
Howard and Kirkman's latest continues sell-out trend!
Jason Howard and Robert Kirkman's ASTOUNDING WOLF-MAN has once again sold out at the distributor level soon after its September 26th release and is returning with an all-new cover by Ryan Ottley and Kelsey Shannon.
"I can't be any happier with the overwhelmingly positive reaction from fans and retailers alike," series writer Robert Kirkman said. "From the moment issue one hit the stands everyone has been very enthusiastic for the book. Launching a new superhero title is never easy so Jason and I highly appreciate the continued support."
Since its Free Comic Book Debut, WOLF-MAN's subsequent issues have both sold out. While issue two's new printing featured a new cover by series artist Jason Howard, Kirkman thought he would turn to two old friends to contribute a gripping image of the titular hero.
Kirkman said, "With Jason plowing away at the next issue of Wolf-Man I thought it would be a real treat for the fans to see INVINCIBLE artist Ryan Ottley's take on our new hero. We even recruited the talents of BASTARD SAMURAI's Kelsey Shannon to pretty up the image. They really knocked it out of the park. I think fans will be very pleased."
ASTOUNDING WOLF-MAN #3 2nd printing (JUL078246), a 32-page full color comic with an all-new cover by Ryan Ottley and Kelsey Shannon, will be released in stores in October. In addition, ASTOUNDING WOLF-MAN #2 2nd printing (MAY078228) is currently available for reorder.
